    I agree kids need to be unplugged, these days. But next time you are at a function, take note of the adults. We are becoming as bad as the kids about having our noses glued to our smart phones. And, I definitely include myself in that equation. I'm taking my wife out to dinner, next week, to one of her favorite restaurants. It's her birthday, and I've told her the phone stays in her purse!

    true with some. few dont constantly use them.

    at work ill just check the forums etc on lunch break or if we have to wait for a while if its apropriate.

    phone calls are the exception though. we all get phone calls from boss/ co workers etc asking questions but always to the point and if personal we make it quick e.g. bank etc if its fam/friends normally call back later
