Snowing HARD over here at the moment. I sure hope my wife doesn't get stuck on the train on the way back from her job interview.

Wow, I feel like such a wuss...It's about 60 sum degrees here and that's frigid by Hawaii standards (when the temp drops below 70, we bust out our winter coats...in a manner of speaking).

Another 70F day --a little humid (keeps you young looking) --actually warmer than Hawaii? Pretty soon it's gonna be "Summer time and the shaving's easy". Starting to get that spring/summer feel already --but maybe not. T-shirt and blue jeans --ya got ta love it!

Sorry jeagerhund, It's a little warmer here than 60s (I was posting at 3am) An average day here is in the 80s. More like that 60-70s with the rain and windchill factor recently though. Moist and windy

No, I was just impressed thinking Louisiana might be warmer than Hawaii. But for sure we have better beaches. Everybody's going for the dirty water, muddy beach thing these days --and the waves --you can't beat those 1 ft. breakers around Grand Isle ---your beautiful white sanded (maybe black sanded?) / 15-20 ft waves/blue water paradise monopoly on beach tourism days are almost over my friend. .You can keep your beautiful beaches anyway --we don't need them. But can you send me a ukulele made of Koa wood please -- and a beautiful Hawaiian babe to boot?

I think that LA is warmer than Hawaii at times. I have some friends that live in shreveport and are loving it (they lived here for a spell). The one thing I KNOW you got over us is freshwater fishing, our fishing sucks for the most part. The bass just don't get as big.

Koa wood uke...whoa, that's some cash. get me a theirs-issard damascus and hand forged 1884 then we can talk...
As for the babes, sorry gotta keep all I can, the guys out number the ladies here (shucks), but should you come down, I'll take you outto a good spot for hunting (girls that is) and should be come accross a herd of 20 or so, I'm not a greedy guy. Go ahead and choose...two . Oh and leave the dull xacto home
