Beautiful effort on the scales. You imparted a nice element of craftsmanship to this razor. Well done.......

I'm a proponent of restoring to original looking scales but have to acknowledge a good job - and that is an outstanding piece of razor porn! Have to agree that Dovo hasn't put out anything that nice that I've seen!

I just got a Bismarck and I would say that it looks cheaply made.. Blade shape is beautiful but the scales made of pearlex looks like cheap plastic and the pinning is god awful finally the etching on the spine is uneven... I'm not having buyers remorse because I got it at a good price and paid for it out of my change jar... But vintage steel is so much better...

This type of horn makes me hugely envious, it's near impossible to do me about in my corner of the world and is stunning! Great result and suits the blade perfectly. Also like what you've done with the pins.

I cannot think of anything to add to all the positive remarks made above.

I concur. I would LOVE a pair of those scales. They make me drool.

I have been working with a set of Horn scales for a while now. How did you get the horn to polish up so well? I had a nasty time trying to get my horn to stay straight and to polish up.
