    Yep, I agree, the rivet heads will eventually have to go. I just ordered some #0 stainless and brass washers from Microfasteners. What I have currently is a workable straight razor (with the rivets heads), but they will be replaced in due time with proper washers.

    Looks great honestly, I'll be happy if my first restore looks as good. Think I'm gonna buy a belt sander next week and try my hand at it.

    Very nice first restore, congrats!

    I can also vouch for microfasteners, they have made my first couple of attempts so much easier (especially when it comes to centering the blade).
