Looks very similar to alot of pre shefworks greaves I've seen, but a greaves will always have their name on it.

I have the same blade, same tail, mine is a Geo. Savage XX Patent, in black bone.

Lots of old makers did this. An old pair, the Geo. Hammond WR was originally done and the Dublin-dealt one has been modded and is a very old replacement.

Wow! Beautiful work. Can't believe it's the same razor! Just goes to show that even the old rusty and rotting ones have a jewel underneath.
