Hey guys I am curious where you get this material? Also how hard is it to work with. I want to try my hand at making scales an I really like this look. I don't have the typical work shop like some here. But I think with the right material I can do this with just some hand tools. Thanks

KIRINITE - Handle Material & Hardware

easy to work with. I used a scroll saw, belt sander, drill press, a lot of hand sanding, and a buffing wheel (white and green compound). It does not like to get hot, so slow and easy on the buffer.

Yes you can do it with hand tools. Takes a little longer but may turn out better that way. There are some tut threads around here somewhere.

This is not the cheapest material to start out with but you will get plenty.

Good judgment comes from experience, and experience....well that comes from poor judgment.
