great job very clean looking & nice mods thinning the tail & the notch addition.
I like the green scales too are they stained wood or something else.
nice new razorSaved,
to shave another day.

Russian straight razor "WOSTOK 3"

After:
Scales - stained (mix of stain ang black ink) oak wood + polished CA
Stainless steel washers and pins
Changed profil of point and tang.

I really like the stained wood scales, especially the green ones.
I have read that the steel used in Russian razors is very good quality but the fit and finish is rough.
Your workmanship has totally altered them for the better.
