    Hello,
    My first restoration. I made it really long time ago but now presenting here...

    Russian Straight Razor: Trud Watcha Extra

    great job very clean looking & nice mods thinning the tail & the notch addition.
    I like the green scales too are they stained wood or something else.

    Yes, you are right. Scales are made of stained oak wood and CA finished.
    Pins and washers - stainless steel

    Today I presenting my second modification.
    Russian straight razor "WOSTOK 3"

    Before:

    Scales - stained (mix of stain ang black ink) oak wood + polished CA
    Stainless steel washers and pins
    Changed profil of point and tang.

    Very very nice!
    I really like the stained wood scales, especially the green ones.
    I have read that the steel used in Russian razors is very good quality but the fit and finish is rough.
    Your workmanship has totally altered them for the better.
