    Personally love the way the notch in the spine intersects with the pearl in the scales. The original builder couldn't have done better, IMO.

    I had a bit of leeway in moving the pearl bits before I adhered them. One thing I did was to mock everything up many times, with microfasteners. I figured out which way the pearl pieces lined up with the tang/stabilizers. It took a bit of time to figure out which direction, which piece. I estimate this razor was bolted up and unbolted 27 times, conservatively. Keep in mind the 2 liners, pearl bits, and Bakelite panels, parts came from 7 different razors!
