    All of the above....you really did honor that blade! I'll only say my condolences to Neil Miller for having to find out that one of his Sheffield manufacturers had their price. Funny, I just heard the phrase, 'everyone has their price' on some show I was watching last night. That aside, a sweet piece of work, thanks again for posting.

    I just had to come back and look again and I am just so impressed. First by the blade, which is a classic work of art. Second by your craftsmanship and taste in giving the blade a new life by touching it up without erasing any of the original beauty. And third by your voice of scales, lead wedge and collars and pins to make it look like a modern update of a classic. It is beautiful, and makes me feel like my beard would just drop off when threatened by it!
