Damn it..... You are so right!
I hope it shaves as AWESOME as it looks.
So I'll get to be the 2nd person to shave with it since it's restore......
Is it over there or over yonder?

Great job as all have rightly noted. I'm just curious, is that blade a standard length from heel to point ? The notch truly is unusual, AFAIK, and I'm wondering if it was a factory notch, or if it is possible that someone altered the blade somewhere along the way ? Unlikely that it would have been broken at the spine, it being so heavy. Very interesting blade, and certainly worth the cost of the restore.
Be careful how you treat people on your way up, you may meet them again on your way back down.

When I got this razor... I kind of thought it was broken too...... I couldn't see if it was cut or broken off. I posted it here on the forums a while back. Maybe Mike has more insight to it?

Hey Jimmy! Thanks for the kind words. The blade face length is 1/16 short of 3 inches along the edge and 2 3/4 along the spine. Although I have never seen a barber's notch like this I'm positive this is original manufacture. The scales were definitely original and as far as I could tell had never been un-pinned before.
You're right about it being a very interesting and unusual blade.Lupus Cohors - Appellant Mors !
