    The problem is, it is not so easy to beat the mark in the steel. Its need a littel training and confidence, when you beat with a 1,5 kg hammer with full force on a little stamp in your hand I hope the next time it will come out better.
    Depends on the kind of etching. If you're talking about laser etching, you're right. It's mainly just surface coloration. If you're talking about edm or electrochemical etching, that's incorrect, as it will go deeper than any stamp without stressing or deforming the steel in any way. The stamp is more traditional, though.

    Thank you for this advice. I dont know this differece before. Have you pics, where I can see the difference between this two etching types?

    Today I will get my anvil. It has approx. 120 - 150 kg I hope with this I can do the stamps better...
