Thanked: 9Very creative work, reminds me of what a Klingon would use., With an HRC of 63, the steel you mentioned (don't recognize it) must be 1.2 carbon content-like the denomination of the name ;1.2842 -90MnCrV8 , is that a chrome/vanadium type steel crucible?

Wonderful razor. Top notch.
I wonder about your makers mark, the stamp. How did you make that? Did you make your own stamp?
Thanks,

Thank you. The stamp was made for me. I sended them the design in .pdf and a week later, I had it. Not cheap, but I think its much more better than an etching. Most of the vintage razors, even if they had more than 150 years have not lose there stamp. I dont think a etching is so resistant.
The problem is, it is not so easy to beat the mark in the steel. Its need a littel training and confidence, when you beat with a 1,5 kg hammer with full force on a little stamp in your hand I hope the next time it will come out better.

Really super piece. I don't think anyone would believe that was a first attempt. You've got serious skills.
