Just had a shave with it.

Certainly doesn't feel like a cheap razor!

Honed up easy enough, and shaved like most any full hollow. Required a light touch, but gave a close shave. 2passes was really quite good, but I went for a 3rd pass out of habit and obsession

Thumbnotch fit like a glove. Razor has a really nice heft in the hand, but a definitely full hollow grind.

I'll be modding my other two DAs, since this one turned out so well.

I need to get another couple. The one I reworked and put in redwood burl scales shaved very nice. I just got a milling vice for my drill press so i was going to try reworking the spine on one and cut a Spanish point. They make a very nice reworking platform for those of us with no blacksmith background but re milling/sanding/grinding is easy enough with the right tools. I just have to catch up on my orders so I can work on a few of my own projects.

    Default RESCALED

Now it is complete. Acrylic scales, amber with transparent clear wedge.

Why hide all of that thumbnotchy goodness when the razor is closed?
