It's easy enough to strop if I don't use an x motion. I don't hold anywhere near the thumb notch. I hold right against the scales. It's a blast to shave with.

When I first started shaving with a straight, I sliced my ear by getting the tip of a razor inside it when doing my sideburns. I wouldn't have an ear if I'd been using this bad boy.
Very cool alterations.

Just got done with yet another shave with her. Last pass, nearly done, and ouch. The tip dug in a good 2 or 3mm. Should have been paying attention I suppose.
