Default TI Damascus with giraffe bone

A customer send me this TI Damascus razor. I want say nothing to the quality of a razor, that has a market price from 700 – 900 Euros. I think the photos are speaking for it selfs:

First I polished the blade and re-echted it, to get this ugly wide silver stripe from the edge away. After that I made the new scales from stapilized giraffe bone. The wedge is from translucent horn and fibre. I think now it’s a really fine razor

Nice work. I like those scales with the blade. The low profile in the front allows the Damascus blade to be seen.

BTW, did it come from TI looking like the first photo?

Yes, this razor was in original factory condition. It closed not centere, the horn scales are uneven and only the devil know, why they are "scratched" in this way?

Very nicely done and way better than the TI work! Looking at the quality of TI fit and finish it makes you wonder what other quality issues they have that are not visible, like the temper of the steel and steel quality.

Great rescue job, but looking at the state it was in, one has to wonder what else the razor had been used for (other than shaving)

Default TI Damascus with Giraffe Bone

    Hello, Buddel:

    That is fine workmanship.

What especially impresses me is how well you have complemented the exotic looks of the Damascus Steel with scales in the form of a scimitar.

    I like your creative flair.

    Regards,

    Obie

Very nicely done! You did excellent work, but it certainly is sad that you needed to do it on a factory-new blade! I very much like the shape of those scales.
