First Time For Makin Scales and Pinning
I got this 3/4" blade Boker with busted up old horn scales from Ebay the other day. Blade is fairly clean not to many marks on it and after hand sanding a hole in the last clean up of a razor i figured i would leave this one be.
So this is my first time making scales and pinning. How did i do?

Those are good looking scales. I have a ruined a few razors by sanding too much also. I think you are off to a good start.

Congrats on your first. Looks all good from here

That's really not bad for a first. You kept a good balance between the scales and blade. Tell us what finish you used for the wooden scales.
Thanks for sharing.

Looks good. Could you post a close up of your peen? It looks good, but the light is away from the peen. I like the simple elegance of classic scales.
