You can get neatsfoot oil at Farm and Fleet/Fleet Farm, and any place that has things for the farm and horse set. You may also find it at a shoe store or a real shoe repair shop.

    1. That is the original shape of the blade

    2. Get pure neatsfoot oil, not the stuff from Tandy. It will say Pure on the bottle.

Are these blades usually curved or straight? This one has a slight curve as I received it but I have never owned one so I am not sure how it's supposed to be. Any help?

paul, im a newb but from what ive been seeing, the "smilely" blade seems to be the majority for the w&b's. i like 'em, the weight is incredible!

rchljoey, Thanks! I'll have to look at it a while to what would be best. In the mean time, good luck with your own rebuild/refurb.
