What an incredibly beautiful razor! That it contains steel from the main gun of a Leopard, increases the WOW factor.

I rode, with the Bundeswehr, in a Leopard, during Operation Reforger 1976. The main gun was a, standard for NATO, 105mm cannon. Great guys and super competent troops. "Egon" could put a round into a tank carcass at 3,000 meters with, but one, ranging shot. Highly impressive marksmanship in anyone's book.

I was the gunner on an M60A1 Patton Main Battle Tank. At the time, the Leopard was THE epitome of a main battle tank . All the American tankers were highly envious of the Leopards.

Thanks for the great pictures and interesting background.

    Sincerely,

    An old tread head.
Wow, great story. Thank you for that
