Thanked: 3First restoration
Here are some pics of my first try at restoring a razor.
I found the razor on ebay I liked the curved blade so I gave it a shot. I'm pretty happy with how it came out. There are some minor imperfections but overall it looks good to me.

Great !!!
Did you make the wedge too ?The white gleam of swords, not the black ink of books, clears doubts and uncertainties and bleak outlooks.

Thanked: 993That is a fantastic looking razor, and the fact that it's your first makes it that much more impressive. You have done an amazing job bringing that razor back to life, and your scales look great too.

Thanked: 3Thanks for the comments. I'm sure my next one will be much better. The CA finish was tricky, I think I will try an epoxy next time.
I would love to get a 7/8 INOX Friodur with the scalloped spine for my next set of scales,...I need to find a vendor cuz I think that blade is soooo hot.
