    Default First restoration

    Here are some pics of my first try at restoring a razor.
    I found the razor on ebay I liked the curved blade so I gave it a shot. I'm pretty happy with how it came out. There are some minor imperfections but overall it looks good to me.

    That is a fantastic looking razor, and the fact that it's your first makes it that much more impressive. You have done an amazing job bringing that razor back to life, and your scales look great too.

    Yes I made the wedge. Tape on my finger and the belt sander.

    Thanks for the comments. I'm sure my next one will be much better. The CA finish was tricky, I think I will try an epoxy next time.
    I would love to get a 7/8 INOX Friodur with the scalloped spine for my next set of scales,...I need to find a vendor cuz I think that blade is soooo hot.
