    Nice, Amboyna is such a good looking wood, and I like what you did with it and the razor

    BTW don't feel lonely there isn't one person that restores that hasn't cracked a set of scales

    Very nice scales! Sorry to hear about the trouble in getting there, but I really appreciate your post. Yours are the first scales done in CA where I could get a real feel for how that finish will look in real life. All the others I've seen have looked great, but you couldn't see the reflectivity, depth, and dimension that's apparent in yours. Very nice.
