Might take ya up on that, hehe

Wow, very nice look to the scales and great job with the razor, but I love that wedge, that green really pops.

Nice job, Glen.
If I remember correctly, Lignum Vitae was once used as bearings around propeller shafts in ships since it has natural oils which lubricate the shaft and is very long wearing.Last edited by Noswad; 06-04-2011 at 05:32 AM. Reason: corrected grammar

Thanked: 993The grain on this wood is amazing. It reminds me of a painter's brush strokes. Very nice....indeed.

Not to hijack but I thought you'd like to see 60 year old Lignum Vitae. This was my Dads night stick, it is very special to me as you can imagine. He used it for 20 years then I used it for 25. I think I am going to sand it a bit and throw some oil on it. I threw in a razor for size comparison.

Great work Glen, always look forward to your next offering. How do you finish the blade in the matte? Looks great with the timber.
