Thanked: 9938/8 Friodur
Jdto lives just down the street, and we've been doing a bit of hanging out in the shop lately. He had this Friodur in plastic scales, and wanted to jazz it up a bit. He liked the scales on his Manhattan cutlery, so we copied the curves. Threw in a bone wedge and all stainless/NiAg pins.
This was my first time working with horn, and I really enjoyed it. I found it quite nice to manipulate and shape. I sanded these to 2500 wet/dry, and then did 4, 8, 12k micromesh.
It'll go on the hones tomorrow.
Thanks for looking.

For reference...
This is how I left them:
And this is what that razor used to look like:
I'm going to have to call this a MASSIVE success!
Maxi, I'll have to bring over some beer soon so we can celebrate the fine job you did on those.

I find it hard to believe this is your first horn job, Maxi! It looks wonderful. The pins out toward the ends really adds to it's massive splendor!

Hey Nate Nice Job!
JDTO is one lucky dude!
I like the thinness of the horn.
It takes a nice shine too.
Awsome bud!

You did a beautiful job. The razor looks just great and I would be happy to smoke your prop's as well.
