I think most guys understand that "things can happen" during restoration that aren't always desirable. Its all about risks vs. rewards... Seems like everyone in the community is very laid back, understanding, and extremely patient.... yes...patience is probably the most common thread in the straight razor community... I think it says a little something about the type of people that this hobby draws in.
