Cool Frederick Reynolds in Amboyna Burl

This was a fun project, the razor came to me fresh off a re-grind, I got to polish that out to a nice satin, and add the new scales...
Greg sent out a nicely figured piece of Amboyna Burl to use, I went with a MOP silvery wedge to tie in the all Silver and SS hardware...

The inner bearing washers are Brass and I sleeved the pivot hole with Brass also.. the center spacer in also Silver..

The Burl has a high gloss CA finish, that just brought out the figuring way better than I ever hoped for

Your stuff is amazing! Other than some colour choices on very few previous razors, I don't think I've seen one I don't like.

That is an incredible finish on a sweet set of scales! I could really use some CA lessons ...
What is that you used for the spacer? looks to have some design?

It is MOP acrylic that Phil over at Masecraft sent me as a sample I used it on edge instead on the flat like it was designed and I got a different look out of it..

Sorry, I mean't the spacer washers... They look like tiny gears or caps?

Dude ! Just realised if I ever get back into rifles you're building me one.
That's a whole bunch of precision.
