Looks good Ed. You will have to keep us posted on how they go. Pity you couldn't make it Josh. I remember you did say it was likely you would have the kids. If you want to catch up sometime you got my number give me a call and we'll sort something. After all you are just around the corner

at the moment just an elastic band at each end, but if i make a few more paddle handles, i will stick them on with double sided tape.

There is a spray glue available at Bunnings kwik grip I think. If you use it lightly it should bond well but you should be able to remove the pad again when it is no longer any good.

I gave the strops a go, 10 laps on each working down the micron ratings, this was post shave - pre strop, i did a few dry touch ups and the razor was definately keener, i will continue the experiment. I will even take my 10k home so this will be my whole system for the single razor I use at work daily 2 weeks out of 3.
The elastic bands work fine as well by the way. So I can use the same balsa paddle as a base for all 4.
it's a bit of fluffing around but it keeps the kit compact, one box 50 X 90 X 310 mm and the paddle.

Gordon, if you are interested I have a load of the paste makings that eddy gave me left.

Eddy, look out for a P.M.

Greg, you are welcome to some of the pastes too, P.M. me and we can sort something out if you are interested.

I barely touched what you gave me, so i can sort out heelrau as i was going to loan him my 10k anyway. Assuming we can meet up when I am next back. And seeing as you are almost related to greg it makes sense for you to sort him out.
