Hi I just want to let you guys know if anyone ever stop by in Jakarta/Indonesia. I know this one barber supply shop that sell New Old Stock DOVO for Unbelivably Good Price! and you can even bargain the price, if anyone ever stop by in the city I can take you to the store or tell you the address.
I just found out this store few days ago and I bought:
~DOVO INOX stainless 5/8 ,mother of pearl scale, shave ready US $72
~DOVO pearlex carbon 4/8, gold plated, shave ready US $58
~DOVO Best Quality 6/8, black scale, shave ready US $56
I dont think the owner of the shop know the orighinal price these str8 are bcoz I heard he just inherited the shop from his passed away brother and seem that he tries to make a quick sell.
and in indonesia there are very very rare people into High end str8 razors which is good

Thanked: 983Great to know, but why post it in the Aussie forum? Did we become an island of Indonesia without being notified of the change in management?! Although the powers above only know, that, that could be an improvement on the current management, but I doubt it. Not wanting to be offensive, but I know it does come across that way. In my defence, I am a little patriotic at times.

Thanked: 983Well that all depends on where you grow up Oz . I did, in my mini tirade, miss the obvious point of the title to this thread, 'Most common razors in Oz' (Australia, not you Oz, be a painful way to live). Unless the people of Indonesia want to declare themselves part of Australia, take on our laws, religion and language. Adopt our way of life etc, I still don't see the relevence of sigit666's post in the particular sub forum and thread. End of second mini tanty for the day.

It would probably be even less relevant in the international side of the forums. Ya know Indonesia is closer to Darwin than Perth is to Darwin by about 1000 klms. Just sayin, someone in the N.T. might wanna hop a plane for a cheap Dovo rather than say someone in the U.S.
I do see your point about the post's relevance in this particular thread tho Mick Back to workThe white gleam of swords, not the black ink of books, clears doubts and uncertainties and bleak outlooks.

Thanked: 983No offence was taken and none was meant. I was simply stating my thoughts. Also there is this little something in Australia called 'taking the p!ss' out of someone. We all get to enjoy that here. I take the p!ss out of you, Oz takes the p!ss out of me and so on and so forth. Your post isn't a problem, I just failed to see it's relevence. No worries.
