Thread: USPS to Australia - 5-7 Days or 5-7 Weeks?

I tend to have to wait a few weeks to get my orders from the us. Sucks but I guess it's worth the wait in the end.

Also good to see another nix user on here!

I've never waited longer than about 2 working weeks for anything from the US, but perhaps I have been lucky. I'd be trying to chase down that razor if I were you, and making a nuisance of myself in doing it.

It seems to be a disappointing part of doing business with US based companies
There will be factors that can slow down international mail

Think Customs crack downs and spot checks
Some types of items always draw extra attention
Maybe Straight Razors are among them

I have also experienced delays with items from US based traders
Generally I get the items about 3 weeks after ordering
It has taken up to 6 weeks on a couple of occasions

If I haven't received my order 4 weeks after paying for it
I will start asking the seller some questions about my order
It normally gets good results for both parties

Free ticket of course Brighty...Via the UK if you wouldn't mind. I've been to the U.S before so a visit to the family in Wales is called for. I'll pick up your stuff on the way back and drop it in once I have the ticket home in my hand...

Considering how much i have coming (or lost) in the post at the moment i could have purchased a ticket and collected it myself lol, well... I wouldn't have enough money left to buy the stuff after i got there but i would have had enough to fly there and maybe back! maybe!

I have always had good experience with DHL, its a shame more companies don't offer DHL.

Uh oh. Sounds like you guys are setting up a razor and hone mule operation. Could be tricky, very tricky. Some of those hones can get rather larger. Talk about trying to fit a square peg in a round hole.....
