Your meeting ~ you guys deal with all costs.
The white gleam of swords, not the black ink of books, clears doubts and uncertainties and bleak outlooks.

Thanks guys for a great evening. Special thanks to James (Jimbo) for honing up that difficult Bengall!
I was at the July catchup and it was terrific to meet up with MickR, Pauly and Stu again. Also nice to meet Geoff (Havachat), Ricky (RickyBeeroun222) and a few new faces.
regards

I'm quite attached to any razor someone hands me Os...There were a few customs that had a hard time leaving my hands...Lucky I'm made of stern stuff, or else I may have shed a tear.
A great night Gents, thank you. I look forward to the next one. Jimbo said he's shouting the coffee (Joking of course. He's seen the way Stu puts the stuff away and knows it would send him bankrupt just covering that one cost! )

Hi Aussies,
We have had a great meet up in Brisbane
Many thanks to Pauly for organizing the Coffee Club for our get together
Nice place with a relaxed atmosphere
Got to put some names to faces too
It was good to see 1 of our vendors there too
Sam from Shave Shack had some great gear for sale
Stu showed off his custom razors ... razor porn
Jimbo got into some honing work
Mick eventually let go of that razor
Mike W showed some nice razors
Geoff shared some stories and some pinning rods
Pauly sold a couple of razors too
Shane VE was looking and learning heaps
And I bought a razor and got a blade to restore
All things considered, a good time was had by all
Thanks everyone for coming out to play
Rick

Thanked: 1587I concur with all the above statements - it was excellent to meet so many new (to me) straightrazor people in the Brisbane area, and an absolute bonus that each and every one are such great guys. Geoff very generously gave away pinning rod to anyone who wanted it, MickR's roo strops are awesome, Paul had some very lovely razors, Stu is working on holding up the Aussie end in the customs stakes, Sam very kindly brought freebies from his shop, Ricky and Mike are both real gentlemen with some very nice razors, and Shane seemed to be learning a lot (sorry, didn't get to talk to you at all mate.)
A special thanks to Paul for organising the meeting! And thanks to everyone for a very interesting, friendly, and fun evening.
