That was a good shot wasn't it? I was supposed to be working. The Old Man just looked at me until I'd taken the shot and said, "When you're ready Princess, do you think we can get on with it?!" One quick snap with the mobile 'phone and he got all antsy...

Which leads one to wonder, have you have inherited his sense of humor Mick
He sounds a lot like my old man, must be something about people born in that era
Rough and tough but a good heart under it all

My sense of humour did come from my real Old Man, but the Old Man I referred to on the farm, isn't blood related. That's my step-dad. Mine and his sense of humour are entirely different. My real Dad passed away back in 1996. He and my step dad are as you described though. Rough, tough and with a good heart. Thank you for reminding me. Some things should always be brought back to the forefront of the mind. And my step dad had a lot to do with the person I am today as well. I've inherited some of his values and high standards as well as his bloody perfectionist attitude in everything I do.

Why's that mate? You got problems with Funnel webs in your area now? And here I was thinking the little black/brown hairy bodied buggers with their big bloody fangs, all gleaming and black, were indiginous to Australia...

I was wondering why we never see a funnel web now. I thought the roaches might have eaten em all.
I use to know a guy had so many would enter his house he used to keep a jug on the boil 24/7. Hot water kills em quick.
