I watched a Redback catch and sink it's fangs into a moth once. I watched for some few minutes as that moth fluttered and slowly died, all the while the old spider had her fangs sunk into him and held him down 'til he was quit of stugglin'. A horrible death to see. All the while that Redback was sizin' me up if I got too close to her as well. I wouldn't have been food, but I sure would have been a good bit sick for a while if she had have nipped me too.
