A slight redirect Glen... check out Official USA Nokian Footwear Distributor! Nokian Rubber Boots Sold Here!

They sent me an end of the year advert for 50% off recently, that makes these a very good deal. I was exposed to Nokia (yup same company) boots on a trip to northern Finland in the winter one year. -30 and no cold toes. Low top mid top high top, thin liner thicker liner, it's a boot system. We don't have boots like this in the US. The Canadian military bought a version of these.

Discount my input as advertising if you want, but good equipment is impressive no matter who sells it.

Check out the line of Wolverine 1000 Mile boots. Most are made in the USA of fine Horween leather. I bought a pair about 6 months ago and love them. They are the best boots I have ever owned. I used to be a Doc Marten man, but the outsource to China changed that.

I do appreciate all the re-directs folks I really do, but I am after only the Sheepskin UGG styles like I listed..
Honestly I have enough serious Hunting/Hiking/Snowboots to last my lifetime, I need another pair of Calf High UGGs, not "Made in China".. If these are really made in NZ I am all over them..

I just have a problem with spending real money for Chinese Crap..

You should see my face when I shop for Athletic Shoes hehehe

I have bad ankles so I wear the outside of my shoeheels unevenly. These were just starting to do that so I went back to Nordstrom's to buy another pair. They were basically the same style with the same price as they were 9 years previous, but they were now made in China. To the salesman's credit, he told me that they were nothing like the ones made in England and that if I bought them, I would be very unhappy. Of course I didn't buy them.
You can still get the Made in England ones online or boutique shops.

Place by me carries both (special order). I will say though, tack on an extra $100 for the made in England's.

Glen, I'm no help the last pair I bought were sold by a Chinese girl at a stall in a shopping mall. No idea where they were made but they weren't cheap. The Kiwi ones look ok. Where's Eisenfaust when ya need him ?

The only thing i know about ug boots is that the australian made ugg boots made by some small family business or something like that, had to stop calling them ugg boots because some bigger company registered Ugg boots as a tm. So I'm not sure but if you want to get the made in australia real ugg boots they may not be called "ugg boots" anymore but this is a very vague memory I have and it was some years ago that I saw it on tv. I could be completely wrong.

    A web search produced this:

100% Australian Sheepskin Boots | Made in Australia - the birthplace of Australian Sheepskin Boot style

    UGG BOOTS - Clobber Australia

Skinnys | Australia's Leading Ugg Boot, Sheepskin and Souvenir Specialists

Australian Sheepskin Association Inc. - Where to Buy?

    https://thisisaustralia.com.au/UGG-boots

DOWN UNDER BOOTS- Australian made sheepskin ugg boots FREE SHIPPING

Well that should get you started on the Aussie made track anyway. The Skinnys website has their bricks and morter shop up the road from my place, about a five minute drive across the bridge. The save our aussie icon site is a list of websites that sell aussie made sheepskin products, and may double up on the other sites I've listed seperately.

The Kiwi ones are the best, solid build quality, real sheepskin, not re-constituted coke bottles, my wife has had a few pairs and they last a long time, she lives in them in winter. The brand is "The original ugly boots"

Wow, you're almost making me feel cold. You should come hang out here in Hawaii for awhile!

The funny thing is when the temps get in to the 60's F, the so called winter time girls will be wearing these boots around in Hawaii. I reckon it is more for fashion than function. Just go to a shopping mall sheepskin boots will be everywhere. Current temp at my location 39 degrees F, coldest so far 11 degrees F.
    Aloha,
