There's an old saying in these parts "The only thing better than one crawfish dinner is two crawfish dinners." In my neck of the woods we've had British Isles-like weather the last couple days. This may just expedite the start of whiskey season which I normally start on 01 October. The gray damp weather has put me in the mood for a bit of John Jameson or perhaps some Maker's Mark.
You are living large, 1OldGI. The only seasonal enjoyment of food and drink of which I partake are the good fall beers in our area, and homemade tamales at Christmas. On another note, these pics are pushing me to smoke pipes more often; maybe I'll go light up.

Just to please Ed and his girly hands, I've taken a 'selfie with my Mullins & Westley Covent pipe, care of my mate Phil (Nosewarmer). This is a serious lounge pipe. You'll have to excuse the tired, but satisfied look. However it is an improvement on the scowl that had poor Carl quivering with fright, I'm sure. I've been crawling around the floor cutting up big bits of leather into smaller bits of leather, and I finally decided to knock off.

You look in need of rest, but definately less scary. and the pipe looks less like a toy.

Took today off work and went for a trip to the woods in stead with a couple colleagues. One of them took this picture of me with my Peterson pipe. MacBaren Scottish Blend burning.

2005 Murray's Dunhill Elizabethan Mixture. Very nice.
