    phills band - YouTube

This was half a show we did a while back at a big party/bbq contest. About 150 people total. A friend recorded with hd camera, but the wires he used to plug into the mixer board were messed up so I think only one side had sound.

Bout 37:18 was where we did the Johnny Cash song

Sounds pretty good in all honesty! Must admit i wasn't expecting amazing when you said "Cash mixed with Alice in chains" but it sounds pretty awesome! Check out my mates band they just released an EP. This is just a tiny tiny preview, if you like pop punk you'll especially like them, i think their really good

Sounds good, reminds me a little of the offspring and green day. One thing I have always had was a wide diversity in music I like. Everything from Marty Robbins to Five Finger Death punch and everything in-between. Except bagpipes--unless they are in a Korn song

Im exactly the same! Anything from Pantera to Bob Dylan, The Dubliners, Patsy Cline,i'm not even going to list or i'd be here for hours, i must be the easiest person to buy presents for! I will literally listen to more or less ANY music and enjoy it, i enjoy every genre really but at certain times, when i feel a certain way and only certain artists. (The only music i hate is 1 direction, Justin Bieber and Miley Cyrus, or anything "posey")

Even though Rap is "posey" i really really like certain artists, just not the ones like Jay Z or Lil Wayne, more like 2pac, Eazy E, Ice Cube that type of rap i find acceptable(hope im not contradicting myself now.) :P

Linkin Park, holywood undead, rap mixed with rock. And of course old skool Beastie boys and Rage against the machine. I love playing the bass line for Rage's Bombtrack.

I think a true musician or maybe a music-a-phile has very few dislikes in music. Music always evolves. Seems some of us do to.

Self taught harp player & singer here. Used to have a few bands in mid 70-s to mid 80's. Blues thru to rockabilly.
Listen to a lot of rap & RnB now. Even slowly getting a taste for house music in my old age . LOL...

I read somewhere about how the mind works with music and why "old" people don't like the young whippersnappers music. It said in a nutshell that if you listen to predominantly one type of music that your brain is kind of programmed to think that is what music is suppose to sound like. Eventually any other music style or sound doesn't sound right to the brain and is "noise".
