Thanked: 1936First buck/deer, shot left handed & I'm a righty. I remember the excitement, hearing my heart pounding thinking the deer might hear it. Cocking that 30-30 & hearing it "click" was really LOUD. The slow movement to bring the rifle to presentation, hearing everything like leaves falling, but I don't remember hearing the report of the rifle sounding...strange.
I also remember quite vividly being a fumbling nervous idiot with my first encounter with a lady...talk about a riot looking back.Southeastern Oklahoma/Northeastern Texas helper. Please don't hesitate to contact me.
Thank you and God Bless, Scott

Thanked: 603First Tattoo
I got it at Ted's Tattoo Shop, in Fairfield, IA, on my 20th birthday. I was on leave, before reporting to my first duty-station: Ft. Richardson, AK
This photo was taken years later, at my 10th high school reunion, in June 1979. It is the only photograph I have of it; sadly, in B&W.
Half-a-year later, the rose was covered up by an elbow-to-shoulder Japanese koi (which definitively answers Pixelfixed's question: "Does a fish have lips?").
You can have everything, and still not have enough.
I'd give it all up, for just a little more.

Mrs. Moo (right): the first woman I loved more than life itself.
And Roxie: the first dog I ever knew who would mouth-deliver dry, unbitten envelopes and liked wearing fake animal noses.
