Just got back from Little Tupper Lake in the Adirondacks. We had 2 nice dry, cold days. I decided to cut it short to avoid the rain today..still had a great trip. In an effort to keep the misses warm i think i burned about a 1/4 cord of wood.

Paddled in right behind some stormy weather.

We usually make for the far end of the lake but this trip we grabbed a much closer site which ended up being one of our new favs. We were out on a point with a great breeze.

Just home from a 10 day vacation.

    Now back to work.

Many to go through but a couple of pictures from the Ozarks.

We had a competition at sunset....

The first is my silhouette taken by my wife. If you look close you can see the walking stick on the corner of the shelter.

Beautiful! That's a nice looking camp axe.

It was in original condition, faded red, well-worn, but nice.
This was and still is my favorite combination; beautiful, original, and worn.

    Thanks Kris
Its my small Norlund hatchet ... some of them were marked Voyageur, mine just says Genuine Norlund
This little axe will take a near shaving edge in fact Colin tried it at our meetup just recently.
