Thanked: 2A few years ago, one of my responsibilities at work was to oversee and maintain a Windows-based network ... and that was more than enough to make me realize what an inherently lousy operating system Windows is. I switched to Mac at home, and never looked back.
If I were still more of a tech hobbyist these days I'd supplement my home Macs with a Linux box, but I've kind of worked past all that. I fiddled with computers for years, and now I just want them to effortlessly complete the tasks I assign them to do ... and Macs are perfect for that.
