I never let the cabinet run out, like to partake of the Crown every now and then , plus my old man would try to whip me if I didn't have any for him!!! Says that stuff is why he's still here at 90. Tc

Thanked: 3226Just checked the 3 LCBO stores in town and none show any Northern Harvest Rye in inventory. Plenty of other varieties of Crown Royal though. It's $32.00 for a 750ml/26oz bottle here.

Congrats, Canada.
I guess it will be sort of a hard-to-find from local b&m stores.
Luckily there is always a change of ordering online.'That is what i do. I drink and i know things'

Gentleman, if you like Rye Whiskey, I suggest Leopold Bros Rye. I toured their Distillery with my wife for a paper she is writing on Absinthe, and as we both love Absinthe, the fact that they distill Absinthe was why we came. Though it's not what was most memorable or what I had to have. It was this rye. The way they ferment in old methods in open barrels, and the fruity esters naturally produced in the process (no flavors or fruit) give a really nice finish that's juicy and rich. I suggest you try a shot or a bottle if you like rye whiskey and get the chance. Impressive stuff.

If I'm treating myself, I really like Whistlepig. Bulliet is my go to for something to keep on hand. I don't drink it neat (dry Manhattans), so Bulliet is plenty good for me.
But I'll keep an eye out for that Crown...
