Thanked: 580Yeah I think he is very eloquent. Definitely has a way with the words. Depending how red your neck is, another good doco is "Searching for the wrong eyed Jesus" He appears in it. If your son likes Harry Crews, he has probably seen or heard of it. What's Harry's phone number?

Thanked: 9Water's Journey is a good one, especially if you are a diver. I had a chance to spend a few hours with Jill Heinerth a few years ago. Very engaging and intelligent conversationalist.
Have a great day!

Thanked: 13245Thread caught my eye this morning,,,
I have a friend up here in Idaho that just began filming about the Re-Introduction of wolves into WY, MT, ID in the 90's and the decimation of the Elk Herds, and the un-controlled expansion of the wolves into other western states..
Pretty interesting to follow his progress from his FB posts, gives a different perspective about what it takes to get a Documentary up and running..

That reminded me, we have/had (not sure on current status of this) an issue with wolves here in WI. A couple years back a few farmers were trying to get permission to shoot wolves found on farmland. Most of the things I found are a few years old, but would probably be an interesting watch/read. Second video is probably a little more on the biased side since it was sponsored by "friends of the wisconsin wolf"

Thanked: 13245It is quite a Controversy up here in ID and the other "Wolf Hunting" states,,
There is also a bit of a difference in the original Grey Wolf that was found in the lower 48 that was hunted and trapped to near extinction and the wolves they introduced in the 90's..
There is a ton of info about the Re-introduction available out there of course you have to weed through the bias's presented from both sides but there is no question that the Elk herds and Moose numbers are suffering badly ..
Was just reading an article in the Spokane paper yesterday about a new study done by several WSU guys that had ZERO biology background, but had an opinion on predation and wolf hunting in WA
It gets quite heated up here between the two groups

Lot of good ones out there but The Fog Of War is one of the best I've ever seen, also Waco was quite good. Change of pace ........ What Happened to Kerouac was also good if you're into that sort of thing.

Be careful how you treat people on your way up, you may meet them again on your way back down.
