In MN these lights are not allowed on the road unless completely covered with an opaque material.

How do the tractors used by Minnesota farmers deal with that law?

It's been a long time since I visited MN.... too many State laws that didn't make sense to me.

Like most things if you have them off and are driving a tractor you will probably be fine. Unless the sheriff is out to get you for something. And it is an easy thing to stop you for. I have been noticing a few trucks with these uncovered lately.

One time my son was driving a car with a little sticker in the rear window. That sticker had been there for years with many drivers but when the cop wanted to pull my son over it was his reason. He was right and there was no arguing that it was legal. A warning later after everything else was checked and my son was on his way.....

That is why they are suppose to be covered so they can't even accidentally be turned on.

Well, the lights are on. They did well on the highway(nobody in front of me). I'm going to post pics of the light being emitted tomorrow night. I'll take it to the woods at the archery range for better pics.

    Or tailgating.....

But I wouldn't want to be a cop trying to stop someone with a set of these to the rear.

I have not forgotten, hopefully tonight some photos in the woods, lots of rain the past 3 days. We did not seal the mount as well as we should have, the other day; water made it through & all day fixing it. PITA is was.
