First and Foremost, It was an Honor and a Privilege to have Tc at my humble Abode :
He graciously helped me learn more about my bike and I was able to serve him some of my home cooking.
Our ride over Lo Lo Pass was gorgeous! And the time spent with Glen and Shannon out there in the Boonies will never be forgotten. Their hospitality was unbelievable. Their wilderness 'Pets' were a joy to watch. And the shop time with Glen was very informational and educational. As I've always said 'Hands On Teaching' will teach more in a few hours than months and months of reading and watching videos!
OK! I landed in the LA area on Monday and spent the night in a motel, then the next day back tracked a bit to my friends rental and spent the day and night with him just shooting the bull. Then I rode down to his home and after a good nights sleep we started working on one of his remodeling projects.
Depending on how things go I 'may' ride over to AZ to meet person to person with a couple of members then ride home/Nothings written in stone.
Tc, Glen and Shannon, Thank you!: : :Last edited by cudarunner; 08-04-2016 at 01:25 AM.
Our house is as Neil left it- an Aladdins cave of 'stuff'.

It sounds like you will have 5600 miles before your trip is done!
+1 on Lolo pass.

.it was a phenomenal ride over the pass. Other than one day with over 100 degree weather in the high desert in western Wyoming, the whole 5600 was great, as to Roy's mileage I bet he'll be coming in close to 4000 counting the miles we put on together. Not bad for a guys first big ride!!! Kudos to you Roy.
Tim, maybe you can follow along next time with the camper and be our campsite supervisor! Tc“ I,m getting the impression that everyone thinks I have TIME to fix their bikes”

Of course you guys that ride Harley's should have a Sweep Vehicle!
Why else would Harley give out a map of all their dealerships with a new bike?

Thanked: 3795TC, you continue to inspire me to get another bike. Occasional trips next summer sound very appealing. I'll just have to figure out the proper mount for my microscope!

I've seen alot in 45 years of riding , but a microscope on a Harley would be a first. You may need to get a trailer or load it in Tims truck. Tc

Thanked: 3795Honestly, I don't like taking passengers with me, and there is no way I would actually take a Zeiss microscope on a bike. It was meant to be a bad joke.
Speaking of which, in the late 80s I mounted a car seat, containing a cabbage patch doll, onto the back of my bike for a few days. I got a lot of very nasty looks and gestures.

TC Is your horse the 03 Anniversary Fatboy?? How did those solid rims behave in the winds?? Solid rims and gusts of wind move me all over my lane. I knew that Roy was hardcore, we just learned How hardcore. You 2 just did something that all of us would have liked to have been part of. My hats is off to both off you. Iron Horses and Wetshavers.
Your only as good as your last hone job.
