5600 miles
Guys I got back from a pretty good ride that took me to Denver for the meet. There. Met some really great guys, but that was only the first leg of my trip, I then went over the mountains to Roy's place(cudarunner) we had a couple of fun days meeting his family and friends.
Next we we packed up and took our iron horses over thru some great country on our way to Glens (gssixgun) to our own little mini meet, we shot lots of bull and even worked on some razors! Plus watched the wildlife that runs around Glen's yard. His wife was such a great person to put up with us, thanks Shannon, and Glen.
Well I rode home from Glen's and Roy took off for home then California on his bike, all in all other than getting ran off the road in Montana, it was a very cool trip in which i Got to knockoff 4 more items on my bucket list.
Enough rambling just thought it would be cool to post about a 16 day, 5600'mile run with some very good friends and made some new ones on the way.“ I,m getting the impression that everyone thinks I have TIME to fix their bikes”

Awesome Tc, 5600 miles on a bike, can't imagine what an experience like that would be like, especially on the free road, not slammed with tons of traffic, must have been a great time and thanks for sharing.
Maybe a stupid question, but did you hole up in a Hotel at night or were you camping along the way?

Here's another stupid question; Being from Tennessee , how do you handle the altitude sickness?

Smoke a fat one and the Air flows free. Legal in Colorado. On a bike I get powerlunged breathing that thin air. Caffeine vasodilates and allows for greater O2 exchange. Coffee and ride to the next rest stop. In the flatlands we ride till the next overpass, break in the shade. So I heard on CNN.
Your only as good as your last hone job.

John I worked all over the world in different altitudes I guess I,m used to it. Never had an issue, I ride all over this country too, just east of here we got some mountains also.
Jonathan, I liked the mention of the Colorado legal smoke. No I haven't done that yet. But. Found it funny to see a storefront in Denver, " marijuana emporium " I thought d never see something like that. Tc“ I,m getting the impression that everyone thinks I have TIME to fix their bikes”
