Well I had enough of my roma tomatoes to harvest and can. As you can see there are more coming on.
The biggest one is still on the vine. The total that I picked today was 15 lbs-----

Supper tonight. 3 cukes that were a little large for pickles. I am letting them soak with a little salt to draw out some water. Then add the mayo.

The bigger end of a zuchinni on the table next to the bowl. If anyone wants a couple just stop by!
A summer treat for us is a salad of:
Sliced cucumbers
Onion sliced
Tomato chunks
Mix them up and add cider vinegar and sugar to taste
Let the mixture soak overnight and enjoy
Sounds great guys and I have probably had this one time or another but have never made it for myself.
What kind of ratio of onions to cukes is a good start with?
I think I am probably going to hear to use what you have and Walla Wallas are the best!:rofl2:
One day f my favorites is the cucumbers and onions in cider vinegar, eat them most every day, with the garden putting out so many, I took a laundry basket back to the rig last time. I love them cold with just salt and pepper too, Or on a sandwich
