i have a citizen eco-drive wr-200 paid 200$ used, black face. it's alittle big for me so my everyday watch is a tissot pr 50 black face leather band, also had a white face steel bracelet but woke up new year day with a headache and no watch...sniff!
i think that in the range of 400/600$ watches those are great buy (might even be less than that now)

i have a gold mido wich is my grand father's watch but i keep it in the safe sine the new year eve's debacle.

I've thinned the herd from my insane collecting days, but have some nice ones left:

    1) Rolex Submariner. My everyday workhorse.

    2) Rolex Daytona stainless steel black face. Need to buy a lotta jewelry before you get on the waiting list for a new one of these at list price. Beautiful watch.

    3) Rolex 50th anniversary Submariner LV, given to my son at graduation.

    4) Panerai Luminor Marina titanium. What a cool face.

    5) Rolex Explorer ll white face. Gotta have at least one white face sport watch.

    6) Omega Seamaster, blue dial, blue bezel. Bond. James Bond.

    7) Omega Railmaster. Simple beautiful dial, best on an alligator strap

    8) My grandfather's 1940 Longines two tone yellow and rose gold "tank". Great with a tux.

I wear either a Luminox 3402 (brightest... tritium... EVER) or a Seiko Orange Monster. They are both fine watches!

they don't have batteries, they have capacitors, and although they never need to be charged, they do sometimes have to be replaced. not more than once a decade, and they are less than 20 bucks, but it's still something you have to take care of.

    I don't really collect watches. I wear a 1983 Rolex Submariner.

A good friend of mine lent me his Panerai 111. I do not if I should thank him or curse him. I gotta get one of these.
