I can't bring myself to call myself a musician, because I'm simply not that good. But I've enjoyed music my entire life, and it's played an important part in keeping me (relatively) sane.

    Anyway, here we go:
    • Horn - Marching, Stage, Concert bands; Symphony; brass quartet
    • Trombone (tenor & bass) - Marching, Stage, Concert bands; Symphony
    • Harmonica - just for fun
    • Guitar (12-string) - folk, Bluegrass
    • Recorders (key of F) - baroque
    • Alto flute (baroque) - baroque, mostly

I'd probably be better if I could settle on one instrument!

When you are dead, you don't know that you are dead. It's difficult only for the others.
It's the same when you are stupid.

Where would the fun be in that though?! Why settle for one when you can dabble with so many?! I envy you the 12 string guitar. I reckon that's next on my 'to get' list after playing some tunes on one in the music shop the other day.

I played the clarinet and trombone in school. Then moved on to guitar and bass. Played bass is a couple punk/rock bands. Played all throughout California for a couple years. Also play the bagpipes. Although I haven't picked up any instrument since moving to Japan a few years back.

Well I reckon I'd play the bagpipes if I lived in Japan .

Music major my first time through college. My wife is a vocalist/violinist. I play guitar, bass, keyboard, mandolin, and a hint of banjo. We met playing in a cover band in the 80's, followed by original rock bands and original blues bands. We have opened up for many national acts, but we have been the worship team leaders at both our church in NJ, and now in our WV church.

I played trumpet, flute, and French horn in high school symphonic band, and bass and trumpet in the jazz band. In high school, I was the guy who skated through everything, but I was always competition for the better players. But, I've recently picked up my bass again, and I'm running through the method books in an effort to get back my groove and become much better than I ever was - I've got rhythm, I just never used to practice.
