Thread: Pipes?

Ah, I see. If I was ever to smoke cigs (not that I would, they are filthy), I would definately roll my own. I actually smoked rolling tobacco out of a pipe a few summers ago when I was stuck in a Chicago suburb and couldn't find a smoke shop. Drum, I believe it was.

Drum in a pipe? That sounds interesting - I'm sure it must have burnt very hot. I can only just about smoke the blue drum in cigarettes, the gold pack is much better though.
I should give up cigarettes really as I don't enjoy them - but as you said they are filthy and they have one hell of a grip on me!

You know, I actually don't remember how it burned. Then again, my failure to remember makes me think it wasn't all that bad. I would give it another try just to see, but I don't have any rolling tobacco on hand and, since I don't smoke cigs, it would be something of a waste to try.

Anyone else want to give it a shot in the name of smoker science?

I roll using D&R turkish and their perique blend mixed in various combinations.. It's far better tobacco than any cigarette I've tried but it is still quite harmful and I really should quit. I've tried cigarette tobacco in a pipe; it didn't go very well- it's better to put pipe tobacco in a cigarette

It's hard to recall exactly what went wrong with the pipe, so not much help.
