Thread: Finer Things - Corsets

My wife loves 'em... She's got a few true corsets and quite a few corset-like tops and lingerie tops. She talked a friend of hers into buying a corset, and a few days later the friend was telling all her female friends "buy a corset, it will change your life".

I have another friend who has CAD, and gets most of here custom made from a shop online called Blood Drop. She has some amazing corsets.

Ladies, if you ever visit Belgium by any chance, could you perhaps drop by and explain all this to my wife and convince her of the benefits.

I've never worn a corset myself, but I must say they are darn sexy.

Since the topic has been brought up and it's not so off topic, where can one acquire a truly high quality garter belt? My wife wanted to switch to thigh highs and garter belts, but all the ones readily available seem to be designed for the bedroom, rather than for holding stockings up.

Hmmm, sounds to me like your sister is facinated by you straight shaving and is probably curious as to how it feels. Have you mentioned to her that there are ladies out there who do straight shave?

You could ask her to help you out by teaching her to lather up first or something. But it sounds like she is contemplating the experience.

Or you could be a really cool brother and offer to shave her legs, see if she likes it.

Yes CAD is as expensive as RAD and most of the same principles remain the same. You get what you pay for, so a quality corset like a quality razor are worth the £$$£

Mike you are priceless! Getting into Nightclubs used to be bad enough with the ammount of studs I used to wear, not to mention the 17 piercings too.......

And I don't do purses/handbags. What I can't fit down my bra or corset (cash, cell, lippy, eyeliner, cigs), well thats what Spike is for. Though where would I put my straight?

Guess we always have the Garter back-up as it could be strapped to your thigh, hehehe

I like Hold Up's for everyday wear. They come is lots of different colours/styles and have different tops to them. You can either get plain elasticated tops or fancier lace ones. You don't need a garter or suspender belt as they stay in place themselves, so you're not sitting there waiting for the dreaded "ping" as one of your anchors breaks free and snaps you on the leg or butt.

Thank you. Now, as a mod it is my duty to point out that we have a 'What do you look like' thread in the conversation forum you could could post a pic to show what you look like. Your comment about the studs made me curious.

The key to garter belts, as you colonials so quaintly call them, is the grip of the snap on the stocking top. Like all things, it seems, the better the belt, the better the snap & the more you'll pay for it. You, or your good lady, will have to tension the strap right. Tight isn't always best. Play around some.

As to where to get such confections, I have to say, check out your lingerie store/department & ask there. They know what they sell, mostly, & won't laugh. You'll feel very knowledgeable & smug, especially if you're carrying a little bag... The best ones I've ever, ahem, come across are by Rigby & Peller. Like a TI, very pretty, very ££$$$

the wife wears them from time to time; here we are at scarborough faire this year and she is wearing one. i really don't know how it would be possible to don one without help, it always takes a fair bit of work to get it securely fastened and tightened to her liking.

i dislike it for the same reasons my wife likes the outfit i was wearing in the picture: difficulty of access.
