I've got one 3/4 sleeve, a shoulder cap that was meant to become another 3/4 sleeve (should get on that) and various other smaller pieces here and there.
Why? Well, I got my first one days after I could legally sign for myself and I guess I just got addicted to the rush of enorphins and the challenge of seeing how far I can push my body. I'm also happy to say that each and every one of my pieces was selected on the basis of it's aesthetic value, rather than some deeply meaningful reason. I've found that, with a few exceptions, what's meaningful tends to be transient over the long term so it's better to avoid tattoos that are based on that rationale.

All my work has been from what my life was at that time. While I don't have any Brand type ink, never found one that fit me, I'm not opposed to them. For I never got my HD wings or the like as I just never felt I needed them. Names are also not something I would get done, save a few exceptions... I have my daughters name done as a fathersday pressent I am very happy to have that one it's not something that can change over time. My wife understands that as she is of the same mind set there. However I wouldn't be against a rememberance piece should anything happen to her (together now for 28 years, married 20 of them )

Had this done 2 years ago.. the roses represent my daughter.. the musical notes represent my wife. The dragon represents all of us ( we are all born in the year of the Dragon) and the Yin Yang represents the balance my family provides me. I drew it and had a local shop tattoo it on me.
Now to find someone else to do my next one.

tattoos
I am huge fan of tattoos and tattoo art. Ive been collecting for years. I have a lot of friends in this industry. I'm a Barber from PA. When we have tattoo conventions local we have our barber shop set up a booth to do straight razor shaves at the convention.
Here is a link to my facebook which has an album with my tattoos

Thanked: 603Some of mine... done by "Our Favorite Wet-Behind-The-Ears-Mod", JimmyHAD (the lower-leg tattoos wrap around completely) -- the final photo is where Jimmy tattooed my c-o-c-k (it hangs below my knee):
You can have everything, and still not have enough.
I'd give it all up, for just a little more.

I have two tattoos. The first was a celtic cross that I got after my grandmother passed away. My whole family got a tattoo that reminded them of her. The second is an anchor piece that I had done after my wedding. I am working on my third, which will be a celtic tree of life to mark the birth of my first child, Amelia.

I have more tatoos than I can count. My right leg from knee to ankle is sleeved, both arms done up, cant really call it sleeved because the inbetweeens are not filled in and a large back piece. I prefer old school styles with just black and white heavy line and salt n pepper shading. Some of my tats have meaning and some just because. Im going with Jimmy on this one " The Devil Made Me Do It!!" LOL. Id love to share them with ya all but its too difficult to take pics of my self. But heres a few
