Actress Jane Seymour is the same way, two different colored eyes. She has one green eye & one brown eye plus a crooked smile but she can be my medicine woman anytime.
    Beautiful dog Scott.

Our son visited over the weekend and my wife and son took our cream golden retriever Tess for a hike around Pinecrest Lake in the Northern Sierra's at about 5,000 feet. Tess is a trooper but suffers from a hereditary problem where the pads on her feet cannot take rough terrain. We learned this the hard way, for us and Tess, last year when she lost all of the outer skin on her pads after a day of hiking. Naturally not a complaint from Tess except for limping which led her dumb humans to discover the problem. All healed in about 3 weeks. Thus, her hiking boots which allows her to do the hikes without issue.

Another year with Jack in the Maine north woods. The afternoon hunt produced a pair of woodcock and a big male grouse.

The newest addition to the family. This is the 4th dog I've chosen from the Birch Hill Brittany Kennel in Connecticut. I can't speak highly enough of the owner and Brittany Hall of Fame member Bob Fleury. This little guy comes home in another 3 weeks. My wife has named him Johnson's Master Chief but we'll just call him Chief. He'll be old enough to start training this coming summer and I'll be shooting over him in the fall.

My favorite breed. I had a great one that lasted 14 years.
