I like them and have a few shirts that take them, though I don't wear them enough. I do tend to prefer French cuffs when I can get them.

Any ideas on where to get some quality cufflinks for a reasonable price (not cheap, but reasonable). I'm looking for something very muted as I'd wear them on job interviews this fall. Just looking for something classy, yet understated.

You can always get great deals on nice cufflinks on ebay. At least I have.

As a guy who wears a suit and tie to work everyday (I work for a bank), I always bring it up a notch with double cuffs and cufflinks. I don't think I even own a single-cuff dress shirt.

I'm unaffiliated with them, but purchase all my links from Charles Tyrwhitt in the UK: www.ctshirts.co.uk. Their prices are very fair for what you get: good quality links. Some conservative; some not.

I picked these up recently. Oddly enough, they bypass the shirt cuff completely.

Oh, it seems quite a few people are! And thanks for the link to the forum, I should have had a better look! I got all mine (all vintage and antique) from ebay, some were stupidly cheap (like 5 bucks) and polished up nicely. Others I left with the original patina. It seems you can get some cheap ones (like my Edwardian painted dog ones and the 'intaglio' painted pheasant ones) quite cheap but they're actually worth a lot more than I paid (judging on what I see at other sites). It's good to know the cultured practice is still alive!

Yesterday's cufflinks of the day were hand painted pheasants under glass. Unfortunately I left the lids off my cufflinks boxes and the damp air got in and mottled the white background a little...

I like them. I have only one pair. What I need is a shirt that I can use them with.
