Stranger, if you passing meet me and desire to speak to me, why should you not speak to me? And why should I not speak to you?

Thanked: 485I had a theme idea inspired by your post, Mcduck...
Let's do a Military Cufflinks theme. I suspect those that have them only have a pair or two; from your Corps, unit or father's or grandfather's. So let's see your military cufflinks. Mine are Royal Artillery, similar to Royal Australian Artillery. I served at 16th Air Defence Regiment; Surface to Air Missiles; 10 years. Sergeant. Also two years as a Recruit Instructor; best job on earth, and a tough one.
Show us your military cufflinks! and forever with honour and glory lead...

Thanked: 485Cufflinks Of The Day today were my father's that he gave to me a little while ago. He's still hanging in there at 85 or so, and still smoking, though he's limited himself to two stubbies of beer a day. Actually, 'hanging in there' isn't really a good descriptor; he still mows his own lawn, chops wood, cleans the house, etc.
It's Father's day here in Australia on Sunday, and I know I'm jumping the gun here on this one, but these cufflinks just reminded me of how important fathers are. A picture of my dad is below the one of the cufflinks. The swastika always embarrassed me a bit...
Happy father's Day for Sunday, everyone...
